Expression: My Plotorama

As I mentioned to you in class today (if you have already forgotten about our conversation, that is perfectly fine =] ), here is a panorama of my plot. I told you that I hope to have it framed in order to bring it to school, but for now, here you have access to a copy. As soon as I am able, I will frame  this...but I really have no clue as to when I'll get around to doing so.

Meet My Plot and Map #1

When I was told to find a completely uninhabited area that was about 50x50 meters and contained trees, water, and possibly field, I had not a clue about where to look. The other day, it occurred to my mother that the lot across Fulton might be perfect...so my dad and I went over to check it out. Mainly wooded, with some marshlands, cattails, and Church Lake in the corner, I knew right away it was "My Plot" (especially because of the oerfect location). Although I think it would have been better to initially look at it in the middle of the day, there were certainly some interesting noises only to come out at night that I noticed. More specifically, there were crickets chirping, a few bird and frog calls, as well as some rustling of sticks and leaves here and there: we couldn't decide if we thought that was from squirrels or what. Much of the area is mud/muck (my dad mentioned that some sections seemed to be part of a flood plane), but some places appeared to be solely weeds, shrubs or just dirt, and a small section was grass. I am really excited to figure out what some of the plants actually are, and maybe even what creatures were making the interesting noises!
